Pozo Azul is a set of swimming holes and waterfalls not to be missed. Just a 45 minute walk away you arrive sweating with a refreshing pool to jump into. Walk up past the first pool and you’ll find another deeper swimming temptation. If you are more adventurous you may want to walk up the river further until you come to a part where two waterfalls meet. Why not take a pic-nic and enjoy?
The window to the Sierra Nevada offers stunning 360 degree views of the sun-set and snow capped mountains with a little luck from the cloud gods! A good day hike option with stops at waterfalls, coffee farms and swimming holes possible.
Las Piedras is a picturesque place where the stream and the river meet giving you two sources of water. Ideal place for a sun-bathe / pic-nic there are two swimming holes with rocks to jump from if you dare! Ideally positioned are a number of restaurants at the river side if you want a refreshment stop on your way home!
Spot a mountain of flowers and tropical birds galore and then round it off with a natural shower under the Marinka waterfalls. Sounds good because it is good!

Colombia is famous for producing some of the best coffee in the world and the history of the “Sierra Nevada De Santa Marta“ makes it arguably Colombias original coffee zone. Learn all about the process and see an export standard coffee farm in process plus witness famous English engineering in the form of machines from the 1800’s still working to this very day. The name Victoria is not for nothing you know! Finally sip a “Tinto“ (Colombian sweet black coffee) plucked from the farm and why not give in to the temptation to buy a tasty souvenir to take home?
